Legal
Terms of Service

With regard to training services, if you pay for it, we will deliver it. If you did not pay for it, we will not deliver it. Very simple, don't you think? If for any reason you are unable to attend the scheduled coursework and need to cancel, a 25% service fee will be deducted from your refund and the balance returned to you thereafter. If for any reason you begin the course, but are unable to finish due to extenuating circumstances, no refunds will be provided for started and unfinished coursework. Rather we'll work with you to reschedule your attendance at a later date.

With regard to consulting services, we bill net-30. That simple. Day 31 balances incur a 15% penalty. Day 61 balances incur a 30% penalty. Anything over 91 days is just silly.

All explicit terms of service between parties will be designated within the consulting services contract language.

Copyright/IP Policy

This is a very simple conversation. When we respect the work, intellectual property and copyright ownership laws of each other, we all benefit.

When it comes to training, what we generate, produce, deliver and distribute belongs to us. Period. If we reference material from other published work, then that material belongs to the author or publisher in question, not us. All training material produced and delivered by Ajilus belongs to us, expressly and is not eligible for recording, reproduction or distribution in any form without the direct written permission of the Ajilus Managing Director.

When it comes to consulting, what we bring with us to your site belongs to us. Any industry expertise we reference or leverage for work with you belongs to the original industry author, researcher or publisher and will be publicly referenced as such in all work deliverables used in our working relationship. Any original work we create for you that does not reference or include our own publishings or that of other industry authors, belongs to you by virtue of the contract agreement.

Unless otherwise noted, Ajilus owns all content available on this Site, including but not limited to the text, photographs, images, graphics, audio clips, and any compilation or arrangement thereof (the "Content"). All Content is protected by United States and international laws regarding copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets and other proprietary rights.

The trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed on the Site (collectively, the "Trademarks") are owned by Ajilus and are protected by United State and international trademark laws. All other Trademarks not owned by us that appear on the Site are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with, connected to, or sponsored by Ajilus.

Privacy Policy

We take privacy and confidentiality very serious. We suspect you do too. We know that information security is sometimes the difference between success and failure in teams, projects, companies, institutions and governments. So we have a couple of particular items for you to consider when we work together.

Any training materials, video and/or audio recordings and any supplemental published materials we produce and distribute for our coursework products belongs to us. We have the years of experience necessary to create and deliver this training material, therefore what we create, deliver and distribute is ours. Period. You are not able to share, copy, distribute or otherwise disseminate our materials to anyone else without our written, explicit permission. Hopefully that makes sense to you and you feel comfortable complying with this requirement. Else, we won't be able to work together based upon the grounds of intellectual property (IP) ownership. If you paid for the class, you will be able to take any materials given in class home with you. However, the IP still belongs to Ajilus and you are therefore not free to re-produce, share or distribute these materials without the express, direct written permission of the Managing Director of Ajilus. Recording the training, in any form, is not permissible.

When we work together in a consulting capacity, we will both need to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Non-Compete (NC) agreement before any work may commence. This serves us both. Ajilus will not share, distribute, infer or otherwise reference anything we learn while working with you and your organization. Likewise, we expect the same from you, our customer. Being competitive in any industry requires knowledge, experience and high-value knowledge. Similarly, Ajilus will in no way influence, recruit or otherwise attempt to hire your employees away from you into our company. We expect the same from you and any attempts to do so will be considered a breach of contract by either party unless both parties agree to any recruiting activities in writing prior to the transaction. We'll respect you. We expect you to respect us.

All legal jurisdiction conversation falls under the explicit jurisdiction of the United States unless otherwise agreed to in advance of our contractual working relationship.
